2026 Standardized Testing

We will be administering the California Achievement Test in its paper and pencil version. 
This test will be scored and interpreted, meeting the requirement set forth by the state of Georgia for home study students. The state sets a guideline for students to take a test beginning in third grade and every third year after. However, if your student attended a traditional school and took a standardized test in a different grade, you do not have to take another test until the third year after that. For example, if your student took a test in the 4th grade they will not need another test until 7th grade. If you are unsure if a test is needed for your student this year, please reach out. 
With that said, some homeschoolers choose to administer a test every year. This serves as a form of accountability for the student and a checkpoint of growth for parents in the work we are doing. 
The Hub is set up with small classrooms. We will set up each room to maximize focus and privacy and minimize distraction. Depending on the age, the length of testing time will vary. Once registration is closed, we will reach out to schedule time slots.
