Lyla-Marie Morales

K-5 STEM Pods

Hello! My name is Lyla-Marie Morales, and I’m excited to be joining the team as the K–5 STEM Pods teacher. This is my first year in a full-time teaching role, and I’m looking forward to creating a fun, hands-on learning environment where students can explore science, technology, engineering, and math through creativity and discovery.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business and have previously worked as a substitute paraprofessional, which is where I found my passion for education and working with young learners. Outside the classroom, I enjoy coaching youth soccer, spending time outdoors and with my family. I’ve been married to my husband for 12 years, and we have three amazing children who keep life full of fun and adventure.

I’m so excited to be part of this learning community and can’t wait to see what this year brings!

ELA

Hi there! My name is Shay Rodriguez, and I am so excited to be part of this community. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 14 wonderful years, and together we are raising three amazing children who keep life busy and full of joy.

I bring six years of experience in education, all within the elementary level. Working with young learners is truly my passion—I love watching their curiosity grow and helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me spending time with my family, cheering on my kids at their activities, or enjoying a good book or creative project. I can’t wait to get to know each of you and to make this year one full of growth, excitement, and fun!

Rachel Noto

Art History
image1 (1).jpeg

Rachel is a mom of 7, whom she has been homeschooling for 10 years plus. They have lived all over the country and have happily settled in the Savannah area for the last 10 years. Rachel graduated from Centenary College with a degree in English literature and a k-8 teaching certification. She also had a heavy emphasis in her Centenary College education, in fine arts. After graduating and her wedding, she even spent an extra semester at SUNY Oswego,  completing another semester of fine art classes. Though,  in the end she was 1 semester away from finishing her fine arts degree, the passion for art, and teaching children the same passion has remained important. She and her family currently  enjoy travel, camping, working their small homestead, and learning while they do it all!
