ELA (English Language Arts) Course Description: 
With both the 2nd/3rd graders and 4th/5th graders, I plan to review and study the eight parts of speech along with various grammar rules that apply to them.  We will also look at how we use them to put together good sentences.  We will dig deeper with the older students. I like to use a multi-sensory approach and plan to incorporate some learning games.  We will also take a little time to discuss and explore some fables and other short stories while applying what they are learning.
