US History with American Girl Dolls

American History Through the Eyes of the American Girl Dolls:

Join us each month as we explore different time periods in American history, with the help of the American Girl dolls. Each month, we will listen to the stories of a new doll, and focus on the life and culture of people living during that time period through arts and crafts, games, and other activities. This class is intended for ages 8-11 and true fans of the American Girl Doll series. As many of the activities are hands on, younger students may attend, but with an adult who can assist them. Older students may participate if they have a genuine love for this series. Dolls are also welcome to join! 🙂

Additional Materials Needed: Each student will need a sketchbook, such as the one linked below, as sometimes drawing or painting might be involved. The same notebook may be used each month.
